Software engineering for life sciences and healthcare

Sequoia Applied Technologies, or SequoiaAT, is a software engineering company working with product companies in life sciences, healthcare, and other regulated industries.

Why Sequoia

The name reflects how we built the company. Long term relationships with customers, employees, and vendors matter more to us than one off projects.

What we do

SequoiaAT works with product companies on embedded systems, cloud, mobile, AI, and AR. Life sciences and healthcare have been a core part of the business alongside cleantech, consumer electronics, manufacturing, and enterprise software.

Much of that work is done with the customer team. That work includes embedded programming, cloud systems, mobile applications, data analytics, and AI.

How we work

We work alongside your team and take responsibility for the engineering work you need us to own.

Some customers need experienced engineers added to an existing team. Others hand us a product or workstream to run. New builds happen too. The teams we work with tend to deal with specialised software, complex data, or exacting regulatory requirements. For regulated work, provenance matters alongside the software itself.

Our case studies show the kind of work we do. Client names are omitted because of confidentiality. We keep the engagement pragmatic and fit it around the team already in place.
